      Isu-isu sensitif berkaitan dengan kepribadian, track rocord dan bahkan agama dan etnis para calon kepala daerah mulai muncul ke permukaan sebagai pertanda persaingan semakin memanas. Media sosial seperti Facebook, Twitter, dan sebagainya semakin penuh sesak dengan komentar para simpatisan dan pendukung para calon kepala daerah, bahkan tak jarang menimbulkan gesekan-gesekan perdebatan yang tidak layak untuk dikonsumsi. Stasiun televisi dan media cetak pun tak mau ketinggalan dalam menyajikan data dan informasi berkaitan dengan survei pilkada.
      Apalagi pilkada tahun ini terasa sangat istimewa dengan keikutsertaan DKI Jakarta. Tak ayal meski tidak seluruh daerah di Indonesia yang menyelenggarakan pilkada tapi seluruh masyarakat Indonesia seakan tersihir oleh pilkada layaknya pilpres yang sedang berlangsung.
      Meski menjelang pilkada akan ada masa tenang, tapi itu malah akan dijadikan momentum untuk gencar-gencarnya mempengaruhi para pemilih. Saling serang dan saling sikut sepertinya sudah menjadi keharusan setiap kali pilkada diselenggarakan di Republik ini.
      Kita rakyat kecil hanya bisa berharap semoga pilkada bukan menjadi jalan awal menuju disintegrasi sosial tapi menjadi awal terbentuknya kembali persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa. Setelah pilkada selesai, lupakan semua perbedaan yang ada dan saatnya untuk memulai membangun bangsa dengan persatuan.
